Have you wanted to try fishing but don't want to buy a licence or take someone that doesn't ? You are in luck. Mark you calendar now for free fishing day on Saturday June 11th, 2016. Not only is fishing free that day, but this is also a great time of the year to fish. Many species of fish are very active this time of year. Warm water fish including, Bass, Bluegill, Catfish and cold water species such as Trout and Whitefish are hungry and easy to catch.
If you are not sure where to go fishing, a great place to try your luck would be one of the many community fisheries that are found throughout Utah. They are close to home, offer easy access and are frequently stocked throughout the summer with catch-able fish.
