An Idaho resident, Sidney Cellan, has landed his way into the Utah record books while fishing at Flaming George Reservoir last month. He caught and released a 56 pound Lake Trout breaking the old record of 53 pounds set 12 years ago. It is no secrete that Flaming George is full of large Lake Trout, but most fisherman keep their methods and locations close to their vest. Most fisherman find that hiring a guide really increases your chance of landing more and large fish. There are many guide services through the state. Of course, you don't necessarily have to hire a guide, sometimes all you need is persistence and a little luck.
